I’ve been to Disneyland so many times I’ve lost count. My grandparents would take us every year until I was in high school, plus my hubby and I had a few dates there, then we took our kids and the past few years we’ve taken our own grandkids. It’s the most magical memories you can create with your family. My only sadness has been walking with bad hip pain. They have hurt so bad by the end of the day my hubby has helped me get to our hotel a few times by piggy back ride. The Tylenol that was taken all through the day helped so I could enjoy time with the grandkids but it gets old after a while and just mutes the pain for a bit.
Last year I wore my hip hugger the whole two days we were at Disneyland. Day and night! Not only did I not have to take Tylenol during the day, but I walked and walked all over both parks! It worked so well I forgot I was wearing it.
I carried my grandkids all around the park this visit and we stayed till it closed! I am not saying my hip hugger is a miracle worker but it sure helps your core and your hips during a visit to the happiest place on earth. Inflammation plays a big part of keeping active. I try hard to eat well while traveling. It makes a big difference and the Park has many many wonderful healthy fun choices.
My mantra for over the age of 50 is to move daily and feed my body healthy whole foods. My most important task is to keep my joints safe and in working order. Here’s to many more memories at the happiest place on earth with our growing family.
