Listen to your body

I take health very seriously. My daily routine starts with good supplements and lots of water. I have learned so much in the past 11 years of my life. My daily routine reflects my understanding of what you put in your body is important. I am very aware of what I feed my body and what it needs and especially as I grow older. Being in my mid 50’s Ive found that if you feed your body what it really needs it will function well and give back so much more. I have never been more healthy in my life.

I spent many years of abusing my body with a quick fix of antibiotics and lots of sugar and many easy prepared dinners and lunches from boxes, cans and the frozen section. I found myself sick and bloated in my 40’s. Pain when eating breads and pastas and so uncomfortable in my own clothes. The pain and uncomfortable feeling finally made me find what my body really enjoyed. It wasn’t gluten, sugar, dairy or eggs. It was a very hard long journey to find my happy ending.

I do indulge in fun happy foods every day. Chocolate, wine and comfort food. Just healthy options with less sugar and more plant based and whole foods. You can make many fun dishes using garden fresh foods.\

My biggest lesson I can share with you is to listen carefully to your body. If it’s feeling bad or shouting at you with pain or bloating there is a reason for it. After all is said and done eliminating foods from your daily diet doesn’t ruin your life. It saves it!

Be good to your body and it will give you the healthiest years of your life.
