Paddle boarding

Best summer fun that you can do on water! Gliding over water on a board is the best feeling since water skiing years ago. You don’t rely on anyone to move except yourself. I am in love with the view of the sky on the water as you paddle.

Looking down under the water as you move on top has been amazing and a bit scary. I have paddled over numerous jelly fish in the Puget Sound. They are so beautiful to watch as the flow by so gracefully but I have no desire to fall in next to them.

Balancing on a board and using your core muscles while paddling through water isn’t as easy as it looks and especially if you are going against the current. Kneeling or standing both give you a great arm workout and you can get your heart rate up easily! Just be safe! A tether line is very important, along with your life vest.

You can explore so many fun areas on a paddle board and you can get a good workout while having fun on the water. I highly recommend one!
