My favorite weekend waffle

I am gluten, dairy and egg free. It’s super hard to create a fun waffle that actually has great texture and has healthy ingredients. Plus doesn’t take too much time preparing! One of my favorite allergy friendly brands is Enjoy Life. They do one heck of a great job in creating fun foods for me and others with so many food allergies.

Adding water and a little vegetable oil to a couple cups of mix makes the tastiest crispy fun looking waffle. I add a little flask to the batter and then top it off with berries. To add more fun I add dairy free cream cheese or butter with Matcha sweetened with monk fruit or coconut sugar.

If you have your own waffle recipe, try fresh fruit and low sugar toppings. Add a protein along side so if you go for a walk you have plenty of energy!
