Keep your body in good working order during stressful times. Feed it well, sleep well and move as often as you can. If at all nourish your body with good healthy foods. I love to enjoy a colorful plate fun of healthy yummy foods each day.
Stock up on nutritional packed foods. A can of garbanzo beans can be used for dips and as a protein dish. Olives can be consumed as a snack or added to your favorite dish. A coconut milk can be used for sauces, smoothies, breakfast and soups. Sauerkraut in a can or jar mixes well with sautéed cabbage and onions with a protein item such as sausages and vegan dishes. My favorite jar of peanut butter that has less salt and sugar, can be added to many sauces, desserts, breakfasts, baked goods and smoothies. Be creative with your cans of foods and anything in your pantry. Just make sure they have nutritional value for your health.
A few easy go to foods that are colorful and full of nutrients that are cheaper than some junk food items and taste just as satisfying.
