Working hard to reduce my inflammation

It’s so important to keep your body in ship shape during this uncertain time with the COVID-19 scare. Your body is already in a state of high anxiety. So be kind to your body.

My daily goals keep me from messing up and eating the wrong foods during this time of importance. It’s important to remember what your goals are right now. My number one goal is to keep inflammation down, eat a well balanced diet, exercise and sleep well. It can be done!

I found that reducing my sugar intake has been the best way to reduce inflammation. Eating low glycemic foods and limiting my snacking each day. I only eat when I am hungry and choose wisely. I have also found when I stop eating by 7pm, my body has a full 12 hours before I eat again the next day. Don’t make your body work hard while you sleep….

I love to walk briskly each day. Walking at a good pace will also reduce your inflammation. This can stimulate the immune system by producing an anti-inflammatory cellular response. Activities that make you move your body are a good way to relieve stress and inflammation.

I’ve noticed my inflammation in my body, mainly my gut issues have been absent these days. I feel my best when I stick to a low glycemic lifestyle. Close to a Keto lifestyle but my body doesn’t seem to stay in ketosis daily. My body is super happy though. I also use a smaller plate when serving dinner. Over eating also creates more inflammation for me so I keep to small portions. My diet consists of many recipes from a Vegan Keto recipe book and fresh foods. Hope we can all enjoy a healthy lifestyle and stay safe!
